HOW TO AVOID HOME BUYING MISTAKES

A Home is one of our basic needs and a Home is probably one of the most expensive purchase every person will ever make..There are certain factors that need to consider before purchasing or signing the papers..The following are tips to avoid home buying mistakes..
* Before you rush in an write an offer for the first house you planning to buy especially for the first house u need to see and look at the other Homes for sale in the area..
* Check out the local school. There's no point in buying a new home and moving the family if you don't first make sure that the schools are decent..
*Ask your Real Estate Agent to find out the crime rate.If you're moving to a new town, you need to know this is not only for your own safety, but for resale as well..
* Consider a home is a major financial investment. Many home buyers especially first time buyers, think that they'll only be in the house for a predetermined amount of time.
* Buy the house that's at the top of your budget range. Incomes tend to rise as years go by, and what seems like a stretch today won't be such a hardship five years from now.
* Keep a poker face. Never walk into a house and yell, "I love it!" If you put all your cards out on the table right away by letting the seller know how much you want the house, you leave yourself little negotiating room down the line.
* Have a prospective house inspected by your contractor and don't finalise any contract until you have a list of what you need to be repaired and the cost to do so.
